House Democrats Accuse Trump Administration of Turning White House into ’Crypto Money-Making Operation’
Democratic lawmakers in the U.S. House of Representatives have leveled explosive allegations against former President Donald Trump, claiming his administration operated like "the world’s most corrupt crypto startup." A 27-page report by the House Judiciary Committee, titled "Trump, Crypto, and a New Age of Corruption," alleges the Trump family amassed $11.6 billion in crypto holdings during his presidency, with over $800 million realized from digital asset sales in early 2025 alone.
The report cites a Financial Times investigation revealing the TRUMP family’s crypto fortune exceeded $1 billion through ventures tied to the White House. While the gains were largely paper profits, the findings have intensified scrutiny of political figures' involvement in digital assets.
